ST. LOUIS – The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has awarded Dr. Susan Graham, President and CEO of ELANTAS PDG Inc. (EPDG), the Golden Omega Award. The award was presented at the Electrical Insulation Conference in Seattle on June 9, 2015. Graham is the first woman to receive the award.
The Golden Omega Award is presented on behalf of IEEE’s membership, which includes leaders of science and industry and the users and producers of electrical/electronic materials, components and equipment. It is presented biennially to an outstanding person of science, engineering, education or industry who has made important contributions to technological progress.
The award recognizes Graham’s business leadership and contributions to the electrical business community, particularly in the field of electrical insulation. EPDG’s electrical insulation product offerings include wire enamels, impregnating resins (varnishes), potting compounds and casting resins for motor, transformer, generator, and other electrical and electronic applications.
