PITTSBURGH - PPG Protective & Marine Coatings (PMC) has appointed Richard Holliday as Global Director - Hydrocarbon PFP (HC-PFP). Holliday succeeds Paul Greigger who has retired after 36 years of service.

Holliday, a mechanical and offshore engineer by training, has been in the oil, gas and petrochemical fire protection industry for a significant portion of his 30-year career and joins PPG's PMC group after seven years with MMI Engineering, a technical safety consultancy specializing in major accident hazards.

Well known in the industry and respected by asset owners, engineering firms, fabricators and applicators, Holliday will be responsible for growing the company’s HC-PFP business globally as well as developing and executing its strategy of being the preferred supplier in this segment.
