COLUMBUS, OH - Hexion Inc. has named Specialty Chemical Sales Inc. (SCS) as its national distribution partner for Hexion’s Versatic™ Acids and Derivatives business in the United States.

SCS will represent Hexion’s VeoVa™ vinyl esters, Cardura™ glycidyl esters, and ACE™ hydroxyl acrylated monomer products throughout the United States, primarily focused on serving the coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) markets.

Versatic acids and derivatives are specialty monomers that provide performance advantages for finished coatings, including superior adhesion, hydrolytic stability, water resistance, appearance and ease of application. Applications include decorative, automotive and protective coatings, as well as other uses, such as adhesives and intermediates.
