EDINBURGH, UK - Exova Group plc, a testing, calibration and advisory services provider, has acquired UK-based environmental testing specialist Environmental Evaluation Limited (EEL).

EEL is recognized as a leader in asbestos management services for the nuclear decommissioning industry. The company also provides specialist asbestos testing and inspection to a range of private and public sector customers, along with stack emissions testing, occupational hygiene advisory services, and health and safety training.

The deal extends Exova’s geographical reach and capabilities within the UK, as well as opening up growth opportunities in new market segments.

Demand for environmental testing has increased as organizations aim to meet increasingly stringent national and international regulations. Exova is now well positioned to capitalize on this demand through its comprehensive range of services.

EEL was established in 1991 and supports over 2,500 customers around the UK from four testing facilities and through its team of experts operating on-site in customer premises.
