SAO PAULO, Brazil - General Motors (GM) awarded Sika Brazil its Supplier Quality Excellence Award at a ceremony held in November in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo, Brazil. Sika received an award in the Body Exterior category.

The GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award is presented to top suppliers that meet GM’s strict quality criteria. Suppliers are evaluated on 13 specific quality requirements that must show above-standard performance, and suppliers must have demonstrated their commitment to quality excellence and outstanding performance.

This is the second time Sika Automotive Brazil has received this award from GM, having received it in 2012. Sika Automotive supplies GM South America with SikaBaffle^®, SikaDamp^® and SikaReinforcer^® parts and bulk assembly materials for body shop and paint shop applications.
