Ramadan Abouomar received his Ph.D. from the faculty of polymer science and polymer engineering at The University of Akron, OH. After graduation, he worked as a postdoc at the school of packaging, MSU, where he developed mechanical sensors and biodegradable polymers for packaging applications. Later, he moved to the University of Delaware to work as a postdoc fellow at the department of material science and engineering and department of mechanical engineering. He worked on developing biomaterials for biomedical applications and microrobots for cancer treatment. Finally, he landed on a scientist position at SCOPS Coating Technologies to develop PFAS-Free omniphobic coating. Ramadan has published a number of papers and patents.
