Pratibha Mahale is a Senior Research Specialist at Dow and focuses on Applications Research and Development in the field of architectural coatings. Before venturing into the coatings industry, she earned her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. Her doctoral work focused on developing functional materials using silica colloidal crystals, with applications in electronics and energy systems. Currently, at Dow, Pratibha leads the application R&D efforts for the development of biobased binder for architectural coatings in the North America market. Pratibha has authored over 13 publications and is passionate about finding high performing sustainable solutions in the materials industry.
