Change in the Board of Management at LANXESS

COLOGNE, Germany – LANXESS AG announced that Werner Breuers, a member of the board responsible for the Performance Polymers and Advanced Intermediates segments, is leaving the company at his own request after his contract ends on May 31, 2015. Breuers will leave the Board of Management with immediate effect but will remain in an advisory role for a transitional period.

The Supervisory Board has handed responsibility for the Performance Polymers and Advanced Intermediates segments to Matthias Zachert, Chairman of the Board of Management of LANXESS AG, on a temporary basis. The company intends to fill the vacated position in the Board of Management in the next 12 months.
