Ashland Inc. Announces Price Increase for Intermediates and Specialty Solvents

DUBLIN, OH – Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., is increasing the price of its portfolio of intermediates and specialty solvents sold in North America effective July 1, 2014, or as contracts allow. Prices for 1, 4 butanediol (BDO) and its downstream solvent derivatives will increase by 5 cents per pound.
