Arkema Coating Resins Announces Price Increase for Solventborne Polyester And Alkyd Resins Sold in North America

CARY, NC - Effective April 15, 2014, or as contracts allow, Arkema Coating Resins will increase pricing on solventborne polyesters and alkyds sold in North America.

Chempol^® polyester and alkyd resins will increase by $0.05 per pound; Synaqua^® alkyd dispersions will increase by $0.04 per pound.

This action is necessary due to escalation in the cost of key raw materials.
