Wacker Appoints New VP of Silicones Division for North and Latin America

ADRIAN, MI - Wacker Chemical Corp. has appointed Axel Schmidt Vice President for the Division of Silicones North and Latin America. Schmidt, who took full responsibility for the division on January 1, is based Adrian, MI. He will oversee operations in Adrian and plants in Chino, CA, and North Canton, OH. He succeeds Dr. Bernhard Hackl who is returning to Wacker Chemie AG, Munich, Germany.
