BYK Additives & Instruments Invests in North America

WESEL, Germany/WALLINGFORD, CT – Work to construct a new three-story production building has begun on the newly acquired company grounds of BYK USA in Wallingford, CT.

The overall project, which will cost roughly €36 million, represents an important milestone in the global corporate strategy of BYK Additives & Instruments, and is the biggest investment of the ALTANA Group to date as a whole outside of Germany. Completion and commissioning are expected to occur in 2014.
