Brenntag to Buy Chemical Distributor in Latin America

MÜLHEIM AN DER RUHR, Germany – Chemical distributor Brenntag, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire Delanta Group, a specialty chemical distributor in Latin America with presence in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. The acquisition increases Brenntag’s coverage in Argentina and improves its presence in the Latin American construction industry. The transaction is expected to close in November 2012.
