VERNON HILLS, IL - Rust-Oleum Corp. has acquired certain assets of Multicolor Specialties Inc., a manufacturer of specialty coatings based in Cicero, IL. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Multicolor has annual sales of approximately $5 million. Its primary products are multi-colored coatings for architectural and small-project applications. The architectural products are principally sold through paint stores, while the small-project paints are sold through do-it-yourself retail outlets.
