Huber Engineered Materials Announces Price Increase

ATLANTA – Huber Engineered Materials, a division of the J.M. Huber Corp., announced a global price increase for its precipitated silicas and silicates. The increase is effective beginning Sept. 1, 2011, or as current contracts allow. Prices will increase up to eight percent. The increase has become necessary due to increasing costs in raw materials, energy, freight, labor and manufacturing.
