Solvay Fluorides Announces Price Increase
September 5, 2011
HOUSTON, TX - Effective October 1, 2011, or as contracts permit, Solvay Fluorides LLC will increase prices for all high-purity semiconductor grades of hydrogen peroxide. Prices will increase 15-25 percent on an account-by-account basis as necessary to cover manufacturing, freight and specialized fleet costs.
This price increase will be effective on bulk and packaged shipments of high-purity hydrogen peroxide from the company’s Deer Park, TX, plant. The existing surcharge program remains unchanged, and a natural gas surcharge will only apply in any month if natural gas closes at or above $5.00/MMBTU.
