Oxea to Raise Prices for Carboxylic Acids

DALLAS, TX – Oxea will increase list and off-list prices on a number of products effective July 1, 2011, or as contracts allow.
In Europe, 2-ethylhexanoic acid, n-valeric acid, heptanoic acid and pelargonic acid will increase EUR 150/mt, and isononanoic acid will increase EUR 100/mt.
In North America, 2-ethylhexanoic acid, n-valeric acid, heptanoic acid and pelargonic acid will increase $0.10/lb., and isononanoic acid will increase $0.15/lb.
In Latin America, 2-ethylhexanoic acid, n-valeric acid, heptanoic acid and pelargonic acid will increase $220/mt, and isononanoic acid will increase $330/mt.
In Europe, 2-ethylhexanoic acid, n-valeric acid, heptanoic acid and pelargonic acid will increase EUR 150/mt, and isononanoic acid will increase EUR 100/mt.
