UCAR Emulsion Systems Announces Price Increase

CARY, NC - Effective Jan. 15, 2010, or as contracts allow, UCAR™ Emulsion Systems and Monomers will be increasing pricing on all latex and rheology modifier products. UCAR acrylic, styrene-acrylic, styrene-butadiene and NEOCAR™ acrylic latexes and UCAR Polyphobe™ thickeners will increase by $0.05 per wet pound. UCAR vinyl-acrylic, EVOCAR™ vinyl acetate-ethylene and NEOCAR latexes will increase by $0.03 per wet pound.
