Eugene A. Praschan has been named chairman of ASTM Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications.
WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Eugene A. Praschan, a consultant and coatings expert who has worked extensively in the automotive-coatings field, has been named chairman of ASTM Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications.
WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Eugene A. Praschan, a consultant and coatings expert who has worked extensively in the automotive-coatings field, has been named chairman of ASTM Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications.
Praschan has been a member of the committee since 1967 and also is a member of several D01 subcommittees. He has held coatings-development positions with DuPont Automotive Finishes and General Motors Corp., and has been a regulatory liaison manager for the American Automobile Manufacturers Association.
Committee D01 develops standards for paint, varnish, printing ink, and other coatings.
