Shamrock Technologies: PowderTex™ 53

Shamrock Technologies Inc. has made available PowderTex™ 53, a highly crystalline fluoropolymer additive for powder coatings that produces a matte texture even at low concentrations. The active PTFE is incorporated by dry blending, prior to extrusion, to produce a controlled orange peel-type texture with a matte gloss of less than 5.
