Acquisition of Goodyear Chemical Unit Announced

GREENWICH, CT - Littlejohn & Co., a private investment firm based in Greenwich, CT, has acquired Eliokem, the former North American and European specialty chemicals businesses of The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.

Headquartered near Paris, Eliokem is a global specialty chemical supplier with a product line that includes coatings and toner resins and elastomeric modifiers. The company's brands include the Pliolite, Plioway, Pliotec and Pliotone resin products used in coatings and toners.
