Formation Systems Inc., Westborough, MA, announced an agreement with Akzo Nobel's industrial finishes and North American industrial coatings units under which Akzo Nobel will employ Formation Systems' Optiva™ product-development software. The software is designed to allow formula-based manufacturers to streamline and accelerate the product-development process.
