Water-Cooled UV LED System Enables High-Speed Wood Coating

A new wide-format UV LED curing system has been introduced for high-speed wood coating applications, featuring a water-cooled design and patented Semiconductor Light Matrix (SLM) array for enhanced optical power and dose performance. The system supports 365 nm, 395 nm, and 405 nm wavelengths and integrates via PLC, Ethernet, Analog, Modbus TCP/IP, and other protocols. Additional features include adjustable output, instant on/off operation, optional window protection, and a T-slot mounting design. The system enables faster throughput, reduced energy use, and improved coating quality with no mercury or ozone emissions. It supports conveyor speeds up to 50 m/min while offering long LED life and consistent process control.
