Ascend Releases 2022 Sustainability Report

Ascend announced their 2022 sustainability report, Advancing for All, is now available at ascendmaterials.com/sustainability. 

The report highlights our progress across the three pillars of the company’s sustainability strategy: empowering people, innovating solutions, and operating without compromise.  

Advancing for All also includes an update on Ascend’s 2030 Vision, including: 

• Scope 1 emissions reductions went from 22% to 64% (goal increased from 80% to 90%) 
• Supplier sustainability assessments went from 5% to 56% (goal 95%) 
• Waste reductions went from 20% to 37% (goal 40%) 
• Renewable energy use went from 20% to 26% (goal >90%) 

The company has also expanded its product portfolio with pre- and post-consumer recycled ReDefyne™ engineered materials and is ISCC Plus certified to use bio-based content via a mass-balanced approach.
