New Acrylic DIrect-to-Metal Polymer from EPS

Engineered Polymer Solutions launched EPS^® 2585, a high-solids waterborne acrylic emulsion that provides the capability to formulate direct-to metal applications at <100g/L VOC. EPS 2585 properties include hardness, block resistance, and early water resistance, and it is recommended for high-performance general industrial and railcar coatings. This polymer is suited for exterior applications due to its gloss retention and multi-substrate adhesion. EPS 2585 offers corrosion resistance without the use of anti-corrosion pigments, even at film builds as low as 1.5 mils.
