Ashland Increase Prices for 1,4-Butanediol and Derivatives in North America

WILMINGTON, DE — Ashland announced it is increasing prices on 1,4-butanediol (BDO) and several derivative products. 1,4 Butanediol (BDO) will increase $0.10 per pound. N-methyl-pyrrolidone (NMP), 2-pyrrolidone (2-Pyrol), gamma-butyrolactone (BLO^®) and tetrahydrofuran (THF) will increase $0.15 per pound. 

The increases apply to North America and are effective April 1, 2022, or as agreements allow. Micropure™ and other specialty grades, or packaged material may carry a larger price increase.
