Ashland Increases Prices for 1-4 Butanediol and Derivatives

WILMINGTON, DE — Ashland is increasing prices on 1-4-butanediol (BDO) and several other derivative products.

The following products will increase by $0.06 per pound: 1-4 butanediol (BDO), gamma-butyrolactone (BLO^®), n-methyl-pyrrolidone (NMP), 2-pyrrolidone (2-Pyrol) and tetrahydrofuran (THF). The increases apply to North America and are effective Jan. 1, 2021, or as agreements allow.
