WACKER POLYMERS to Raise Prices For Dispersions in the Americas

MUNICH – WACKER POLYMERS is raising its prices for vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersions (VAE) of the VINNAPAS^® brand in the Americas region. As customer contracts allow, effective November 1, 2016, prices will be raised by up to 15%. This measure has been necessitated by the significant market price increase for vinyl acetate monomer (VAM), which is a primary raw material for the manufacturing of WACKER’s VAE dispersions.
