Emulsifier System

As part of the Dryfoam FP7 European-funded project to produce super-stabilized opaque foam coatings for architectural applications, Lankem has developed a new emulsifier system to increase scrub resistance in Va-VeoVa polymer lattices. Produced using both anionic (Kemsurf ESD) and nonionic (Lanspec HSR) surfactants, the polymer emulsion increases scrub resistance by 150% when tested according to the DIN Wet Scrub Resistance test after seven days drying.
