The mural was unveiled on Independence Day in order to celebrate Pontiac’s history of the transportation industry and AkzoNobel’s 116-year supplier legacy.
The company will dedicate June, July and August to completing more than 25 colorful and transformative school makeovers worldwide as part of the company’s COLORFUL COMMUNITIES program.
The latest project helped to revitalize the Notre Dame de Grâce primary school in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe by painting the school’s interior and exterior.
The money supported more than 650 community partners and programs worldwide that were focused on advancing education and delivering community sustainability while encouraging PPG employee volunteerism.
The coatings manufacturer completed this community outreach project at Mindsteps, a training center for children and young people with disabilities in Herlev, Denmark.
